We take the guesswork out of making guacamole!
Ingredients
-
½ small onion, finely chopped
-
1 large tomato, chopped
-
1 package of Kitcheneez Cowboy Caviar seasoning
-
3 medium avocados
-
juice of ½ lime, optional
Directions
In a medium sized bowl, mix the onion, tomato and seasoning. Refrigerate.
Close to the time you are going to serve, halve the avocados lengthwise by cutting from the stem to flower ends, around the pits. Twist the avocado halves in opposite directions to loosen the meat from the pits, then scoop out the pits. Scrape the avocado pulp from the skins and add it to the bowl.
Using a fork or a spoon, roughly mash the avocado while mixing in the other ingredients.
Once mixed, squeeze lime juice over the top and serve.
Recipe Note
TIP- It's best to wait to add the avocados right before serving. If you have leftovers or if you're making this ahead of time, keep the pits from the avocados and place them in the guacamole to store in the refrigerator. This will help keep the guacamole from turning brown before serving time.
