True comfort food and still as delicious. Based on my Mom's recipe, created into a quick stovetop meal with rice.
This mix comes with 2 seasoning packets and rice so you can make 2 small batches or 1 full batch.
A small batch feeds 1-3 people. A full batch feeds 4-6 people.
Needed to prepare along with our meal kit:
ground beef, chicken or pork
salsa
bell pepper
shredded cheese of your choice, we like sharp cheddar

I make Unstuffed Pepper soup from scratch, so this tempted me. It doesn't taste anything like stuffed peppers, unless you like yours with mexican seasoning. That being said....this was delicious! If you want true stuffed pepper flavor then use a jar of pasta sauce and not taco sauce. It was really good with the salsa and easily made enough for 4 adults. All you need is a salad!

It's been a favorite since the very first time we brought it in. I based it on a dish my mom used to make, but I developed it into a much quicker, easier way to get the same satisfying flavor without all the fuss.
